Astronaut Tim Peake Apologizes for Dialing Wrong Number From Space Station

Anyone can dial a wrong number, but it’s not often done from outer space.

The 43-year-old didn’t say who he was trying to reach or what carrier he was using.

It could be seen as a bright light crossing the sky after sunset on Christmas Day, soaring 250 miles over the French-Spanish border.

Peake plans to conduct experiments on how the human body reacts in space and – in a British twist on space exploration – try out a new tea-making process geared toward zero gravity. Astronauts Tim Kopra and Scott Kelly, from the U.S. space agency Nasa, went outside the ISS to fix a broken component.
