Chelsea ties Watford in Hiddink’s return
And that suspension helped drown out some of the encouragement, as well as the fact the Chelsea striker’s two goals drew as much criticism from some fans as they did praise.

On the absence of Costa, Hiddink said: “That’s a setback”.
Unfortunately, Costa also had a few of his usual Costa moments and ended up picking a fifth yellow card in domestic competition, which will keep him out of a very important game against Manchester United tomorrow. For a game that massive, and with Chelsea desperate for points, this loss is obviously a huge blow.
The striker has been far from his best this term but notched twice in Guus Hiddink’s first game back in charge against Watford.
Eden Hazard won a penalty for Chelsea 10 minutes before the final whistle as the supporters hoped to have a match decider, but Oscar lost his balance after taking the ball and fired it over the bar.
The Daily Star report that the former Chelsea hero believes Belgium worldwide Lukaku is a suitable long-term replacement for Diego Costa.
Guus Hiddink admits these are “desperate” times at Chelsea.
Costa put Chelsea ahead and salvaged a point after a Troy Deeney penalty and an effort from Odion Ighalo had put Watford ahead.
Hiddink said that the game was “intense” and admitted that he “enjoyed the performance”.
“This situation is hard for us but I think we can go and win game [against Manchester United] by game and finish the league in the top four”, Willian said in the Daily Mirror.
“Those guys need the cover of experienced players”.
“But in the end I think we could have made a little bit more, we had some chances and it was a pity Oscar slipped for the penalty”. His bad relations with the Portuguese had escalated in the last couple of games, so the Spaniard had the motive to show his deadly instinct in front of the goal.
“But we have to go on and that is my main concern now”.
Though Hiddink hasn’t been at Stamford Bridge long enough to coax a more dramatic improvement out of his players, they are perhaps showing enough to indicate they can narrowly overcome a Red Devils side devoid of form, ideas and confidence.

“But the team reacted as they did and that’s why we can be confident they have shown what they are obliged to – they have been very professional”.
