US Democrats use Donald Trump as political bogeyman
Hillary Clinton was late returning to the stage during a commercial break in Saturday night’s Democratic debate because she wanted the restroom cleared before she used it, a new report claims.

When asked about the remark following the debate, the Clinton campaign pointed to a comment from an analyst for the SITE Intelligence Group to NBC News. In the last debate, Clinton joked that it took her longer to pee than her male competitors, and the good folks of Twitter were quick to make the comparison again. Clinton maintains an overwhelming lead over the rest of the pack: a recent national PPP poll found 58 percent of voters support Clinton, double Sanders at 28 percent-with Martin O’Malley way back with just nine.
“Knowing the Clintons and knowing Hillary, she made it up”, he said.
But when pressed by the debate moderators, she would not say if that meant she would be willing to shoot down Russian planes, saying “I do not think it would come to that”.

USA presidential hopefuls Bernie Sanders (from left), Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley take the stage for the third Democratic presidential primary debate at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Saturday.
Sanders was more vocal on foreign policy than in past debates.
Clinton’s brush-off of the data breach controversy underscores her confidence in a race in which Sanders is struggling to regain momentum as it shifts away from an economic message the core of his campaign to one over national security, because of terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California.
Clinton recommended more direct action than her competitors, calling for a no-fly zone over part of Syria and insisting that the US must seek to remove Syrian President Bashar Assad from power.

The Sanders campaign even touted one of the initial results are in from that burst of attention: $1 million raised in 24 hours, nearly double the $600,000 daily haul they say they raised, according to court filings. The senator has deeply loyal supporters who are drawn to his economic- and inequality-focused campaign, but he’s far less comfortable discussing foreign policy issues. This means that national security has been pushed to the forefront of the 2016 White House race. Clinton challenged Sanders on how he would pay for those proposals, suggesting he’d pass on the costs to states and middle class Americans. “Not leaking stuff to ‘The Washington Post, by the way, and certainly not separating us and preventing us from getting the information we need to run a campaign”.
