It’s ridiculous to back Chris”, Trump said, noting that New Jersey is “the worst state in the union in terms of economics. Trump did not spare Christie in his attacks against the paper.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said Monday night it was aware of the CNN report, but “cannot confirm” Couch’s apprehension. CNN is reporting tonight that Mexican authorities arrested both of them near Puerto Vallarta, a popular beach resort area.

The publisher of The New Hampshire Union Leader says Donald Trump has been lying to voters about his efforts to win the paper’s coveted endorsement.

Joseph McQuaid, the publisher of the New Hampshire Union Leader, blasted Trump on Monday in a front-page editorial.

The real victor was Miss Philippines , Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, who looked astonished by the sudden turn of events. “To me, as a Colombian, she is still Miss Universe”, President Juan Manuel Santos said.

McQuaid called Trump “a crude blowhard with no clear political philosophy”, and said Trump reminds him of Biff.

McQuaid adds that Trump was foisted on voters by “the crowds, the media coverage, and the polls”.

Trump spent several minutes describing his interactions with McQuaid, saying that initially, “I thought he was an aggressive guy, he called me, he talked to me”. But his harshest criticisms were lodged at his Christie, whose “lapdog” in his view is McQuaid.

Trump said that when Christie warmly greeted President Barack Obama after Hurricane Sandy, that “could have cost Romney the election”.

Since that spat, McQuaid has been increasingly vocal about his opposition to the Trump candidacy, and he has referenced Christie’s ability to prevent his nomination as a key factor behind his paper’s decision to back the New Jersey governor. And he alleged that it was impossible that Christie did not know about his scandal over the George Washington Bridge that scared donors away from the once front-running establishment governor.

Trump detailed favors he said McQuaid has asked of him since before the first Republican debate in August. “It was unbelievable. He was like a little boy: ‘Oh, I’m with the president, ‘”.
