Palestinians killed after attempting to attack Israelis in Jerusalem, West Bank
Earlier, a 27-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead after pulling out a knife in Jerusalem. Eyewitnesses refuted the military allegations.

In a statement, the army said “an initial inquiry suggests an additional soldier was injured as a result of the fire directed toward the attackers”.
After his death, undercover soldiers of the Israeli military stormed his family’s home, violently searched it and interrogated several members of his family.
Israeli security forces said they shot dead two Palestinian assailants on Saturday in separate incidents in Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank, as 12 weeks of heightened violence showed no sign of abating.
The people who brought the 56-year-old man to the hospital said he was shot for no reason, Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman Taref Ashour said. Two other Palestinians were killed in two other incidents, including an attack by a motorist on Israeli troops, with one soldier lightly wounded.
The Israeli police took cover and shot at the driver, who died on the scene, said police spokeswoman Luba Samri.
In the occupied West Bank on Thursday, three attacks were carried out on Israeli military and security personnel, injuring three. Then he pulled out a knife and tried to stab one of them, officers opened fire and killed the assailant.
US-backed peace talks between the Palestinians and Israel collapsed in April 2014 after nine months of fruitless meetings amid bitter recriminations and mutual blame.
The latest wave of violence erupted in early October, and has so far claimed the lives of at least 133 Palestinians, 19 Israelis, an American and an Eritrean.
Violence has also been triggered by Muslim anger over stepped-up Israeli visits to Jerusalem’s al Aqsa mosque complex.

No Israelis were injured and increased police forces arrived to the area following the attempted attack, Palestinian news agency (Ma’an) reported.
