Boston Chipotle where 136 sickened with norovirus reopens
Food scandal-ridden burrito chain giant Chipotle Mexican Grill finally reopened its Cleveland Circle restaurant branch where 136 Boston College reportedly fell ill due to food-borne illness caused by norovirus which saw an end to several weeks of closure as ordered by local health authorities.

The entire restaurant was cleaned and received approval from city health inspectors to open last week.
The Chipotle finally reopened Saturday.
“The Chipotle food-borne illness case will now be studied by restaurant operators, financial pros and p.r. officials for years to come”, noted JP Morgan analyst John Ivankoe as stated by New York Post.
When asked if he was anxious about health after eating at the reopened restaurant, Shankar said, “If I get sick, I get sick. Someone had to try it again”, Boston Herald reported.
It is yet to be determined how the virus went into food, however, according to the Boston Public Health Commission’s spokeswoman, Che Knight, the restaurant was found violating three rules including allowing a sick employee to work, not keeping the meat hot enough and overlooking several reports related to food-borne illness. The norovirus infection is characterized by nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and low-grade fever.
Earlier this month, dozens of students reported getting sick after eating at the restaurant. Chipotle founder Steve Ells took out a full-page advertisement in The Boston Globe to apologize for the norovirus outbreak.

The news outlet reports that the norovirus outbreak in the said Chipotle branch was caused by an employee, who was working while sick. Reporters interviewed many patrons leaving the reopened restaurant, on Sunday.
