Milwaukee Bucks at Golden State Warriors (-18.5, 210.5)The Milwaukee Bucks became the first team to beat the Golden State Warriors this season when they ripped off a 108-95 home victory on Saturday. “Then we didn’t come out and play with that edge and that mentality”, interim coach Luke Walton said. “We’re trying to compete for a championship, and there’s a way to win”.
Mayo said he was upset that Green called out Michael Carter-Williams for a post-dunk celebration at the end of Milwaukee’s win last Saturday that snapped the Warriors’ 28-game, regular-season winning streak dating to last season.
Power forward Draymond Green scored eight consecutive points on a three-point play, a layup and a three-pointer, and Curry made all three free throws after being fouled on a long-range shot in an 11-point flurry that tied the scores with 6:08 to go.
Upon returning home following a grueling seven-game road trip, the Warriors kicked up their feet at Oracle Arena and pleased the crowd with their dazzling dominance and 3-point shooting. It marked the first time since January 17, 2014 that the Warriors gave up at least 70 points in the first half. Unfortunately for the Suns, they were on the schedule for a Warriors team that was well-rested and looking forward to tasting victory again. But instead of a revenge-fueled blowout some expected, Carter-Williams scored 13 points in the opening quarter for his second highest-scoring first quarter of his career to help Milwaukee take a 36-33 lead.
While a rematch with the champs in Oakland ultimately delivered the assumed result – the Warriors were favored by 19 points! According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Warriors’ 21-0 record moved the team past the St. Louis Maroons of Union Association, a league in Major League Baseball. “They carried over what we worked on in shootaround about not overdribbling, being able to make plays”.
Tony Parker scored 21 points for the Spurs, who have not lost at home this season in 15 games. He dropped 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting with seven assists. In the back and forth final minutes of the game, the Warriors broke away and beat the Bucks 121-112. He added that they are going to have a big game come Friday.
Curry finished just short of a triple-double: 26 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
The win was the Warriors’ third of the season by 25 or more points. They kept the first quarter close before jumping out to a comfortable lead by halftime and then crushing the Phoenix Suns to smithereens in a third quarter thumping that produced 27 points alone from Klay Thompson. “There was a lot of talk outside of the court and I thought the young guys were doing a really good job of handling the atmosphere and competing”.

“You have to do everything right against these guys”, Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. Down 100-89, Draymond Green made eight straight points, including a three that cut the lead to 100-97 midway through the fourth.
