Demonstrators hope to mimic the Black Friday protest, which hurt the bottom line for many Magnificent Mile retail stores.
“Our marches have learned from Baltimore and Ferguson and that’s why they’ve been so wonderfully peaceful and organized and at the same time, impactful and effective”, Livingston noted.

Daley. Paul International airport in a call for justice for McDonald and Jamar Clark, a Black male who was shot last month by Minneapolis police.
There remain questions about why it took Alvarez 13 months before bringing charges against Van Dyke in November, after a judge forced the video to be released.
On Tuesday, after Van Dyke’s arraignment, Herbert said he is seeking evidence that will clear his client, but he declined to give any details about what that evidence might be.
The 17-year-old was shot 16 times, but the video of his killing was kept from the public until last month.

About a week later, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said that the Justice Department is investigating whether Chicago police have made a habit of violating the law or the U.S. Constitution in their policing.
