Manning retains Ari Fleischer amid HGH allegations
Peyton Manning strongly denied a report set to air on Al Jazeera that contends the Denver Broncos quarterback received human growth hormone through his wife during his recovery from neck fusion surgeries in 2011 in Indianapolis.

“Knowing Peyton Manning and everything he stands for, the Denver Broncos support him 100 percent”, the team said in a statement on Sunday.
“It has come to my attention that the broadcaster Al Jazeera has somehow obtained recordings or communications of me making statements concerning a number of athletes, and that Al Jazeera plans to air a program about them”, Sly explained in a YouTube video. He told Al Jazeera the quotes attributed to him are “absolutely false and incorrect”. “To be clear, I am recanting any statements and there is no truth to any statement Al Jazeera claims to air”, Sly said.
“He has never used HGH, never failed a drug test, and these accusations are completely baseless”, Fleischer said. The 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, who has five sacks this season, isn’t going to issue a denial like Manning. Sly said in the report.
The league outlawed HGH in the collective bargaining agreement in 2011, but the NFL and NFL Players Association could not agree on testing protocols until 2014. “I’m just disgusted” said Manning.
Peyton passionately denied the claims and he was supported by both the Broncos and the Colts in separate statements. “I can say with absolute certainty that they are not”.
The allegations linking Manning to possible use of a banned drug are the biggest bombshell in a report that according to the Huffington Post also implicates other NFL players as well as some Major League Basebal players.
The Manning revelation of the documentary comes about in the form of an recorded undercover conversation with a former employee with Indianapolis’ Guyer Institute – an “alternative medicine practitioner” for anti-aging – towards the end of the special.
Manning spent 14 years as a Colt. “I know that. He’s a very mentally and physically tough guy”.
The report is based on secret recordings made of Charles Sly, a former intern at a Indianapolis treatment center.
“I have a lot of personal thoughts that really are personal to me”, Brady told WEEI radio on Monday morning.

Brady-who’s faced scandal head-on after the infamous Deflategate outrage that took over much of 2015-also couldn’t help but acknowledge his admiration for Manning, promising he will get through the hard time.
