Man City’s Kompany out another 3-4 weeks
But Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester can be happy about scoring a point after City dominated the opening half-hour and could easily have been two or three ahead at the King Power Stadium.

Do Manchester City need to sign another striker?
Leicester City lost both of their league meetings with Man City last season, but they’ve not lost three successive league games against the Citizens since August 1961.
Leicester come into this fixture after a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield. City is riding high after trashing Sunderland, 4-1, on December 26, reports the Daily Mail.
The 1-0 loss ended Leicester’s nine-match unbeaten run and was their first loss on the road since March while the visitors head into this clash on the back of a 4-1 win over Sunderland which put them right back in the mix. “They have very important players in a very good moment with high performance”, City manager Manuel Pellegrini told reporters yesterday.
Mark Albrighton also pushed forward for the home side in the second half, and in one instance on the hour-mark, he was set up by Mahrez, but the shot went just wide. Ranieri plans to hold a meeting with his squad as soon as they have achieved their next win, but will ask for at least one theme to remain the same. If they suffer an away defeat here then they would be six points behind the Foxes which is a lot of ground to make up.
“It’s a clean sheet, that’s the positive, but the negative is it’s a game we should win”, said Hart.

The Foxes have had a superb first half of the campaign and will have the chance to end 2015 top of the pile with a win over City after Arsenal knocked them into second place with their victory over Bournemouth on Monday.
“We have 38 points which is fantastic and we are dreaming”.
“Both of them (Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy) are performing very well but I don’t think they can do it if the whole team are not having a good performance. It is how we react mentally now”.
It’s a straight shootout between Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony for Man City’s striking post.

Tonight, the Foxes may be without not just Vardy, who is suffering from what Ranieri called “a fever”, but men like Jeffrey Schlupp and Danny Drinkwater, who have gathered fewer headlines this season but whose contribution to the team’s position has been a solid one.
