The Bengals (11-4) lost to the Denver Broncos Monday night, which dropped Cincinnati to the conference’s No. 3 seed.

Ware beat AJ McCarron to a fumbled snap in overtime, sending the Broncos into the postseason with a 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. He avoided silly mistakes, moved the ball in the second half and made big plays by clinching a playoff spot for the Broncos. Especially from the last three games, we’ve played really well in the first half and then didn’t come out and finish in the second half.
“I think we got a great thing going here”.
The Bengals offense is not quite as potent with AJ McCarron under center and according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport the team could very well be without quarterback Andy Dalton should it be forced to play in a Wild Card round game.
The win sees them earn a fifth consecutive play-off berth. “Our mindset right now goes to San Diego and we’ve got to get ourselves good and freshened up, ready to play”. Cincinnati still could earn a first-round bye if the Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens and the Broncos lose to the Chargers or the Broncos lose to the Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
The only other quarterback on the Bengals’ roster is Keith Wenning, who has never taken a snap in the NFL.
“I wouldn’t be surprised”, said Hannah Lindell, a Broncos fan. Dalton is wearing a black cast to protect the thumb he fractured on his right hand 16 days ago, and that weekend would be absolute earliest he might play.
Denver had a chance to win the game at the end of the fourth quarter, but McManus shanked a 45-yard field-goal try wide left. Every single person – every single part of us – has to get as good as they can get, because we’ll be playing games soon enough, and there’s no reason to not be as good as we can be over the last part of the season.
“Coming into the game, I was a little bit banged up”, said Osweiler Coming out of the game, I’m a little bit banged up, but that’s football.
After Mike Nugent’s 52-yard field goal tied it with 6:45 remaining, the Broncos twice drove to the Bengals 26 only to come away empty, once on Anderson’s fumble and then on McManus’ miss. “It was one hell of a second half of football”. “We kind of went back into what we’ve done in previous years and good thing we all knew it”.
“In football, you don’t have time to blink”, Osweiler said. “It’s hard to do”, Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said. “Our team has a lot of special guys on it, and those guys are willing to fight for sixty-plus minutes”. The focus moving forward will be San Diego and very quick. Manning has thrown for 2,180 yards 9 touchdowns and 17 interceptions this season. He has gotten Demaryius Thomas involved more.
-LB Brandon Marshall sustained an ankle injury during the game Monday.
“Asked Tuesday about what the plan was for Manning this week, Kubiak said, “[We’ll] sit down and talk about that, but nothing’s changed.
Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler keeps hurting his left, non-throwing arm. Anderson averaged 8 yards per carry on nine rushing attempts, and he scored on a 39-yard touchdown gallop.

On Sunday morning, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported that Brock Osweiler’s left shoulder injury sustained against the Pittsburgh Steelers was worse than originally let on. Nonetheless, a win on Sunday is all NY needs.
