For Jacksonville Jaguars, is there motivation left for 2015?
“We take pride wearing the fleur-de-lis on our helmet, being a New Orleans Saint, owned by the Benson family”.

If Saints quarterback Drew Brees was playing with a torn plantar fascia, he surely didn’t look like it. Brees was outstanding.
The Jaguars looked completely unprepared and overwhelmed on defense.
“Maybe the only thing you could draw a parallel to, or compare it to, is when you have one of your senses taken away, your other senses are heightened”, Brees said. In the span of five offensive snaps, Breaux broke up two passes, picked off another and snuffed a short throw before the receiver had a chance to get started.
Though Jacksonville had dropped three of its previous four games, none of the losses were by more than six points.
The bigger story for the Jaguars Sunday?
They were right, but probably wished they were wrong.
Jacksonville is unlikely to bring back defensive ends Chris Clemons or Andre Branch, and defensive backs Josh Evans, Sergio Brown, Dwayne Gratz and Demetrius McCray surely will be among those vying for roster spots next year. Good defenses don’t allow that type of yardage, despite being an obvious shootout. Yeldon is still nursing a knee injury and if neither can play Joe Banyard, who has never had an National Football League carry, or Jonas Gray, who had 31 carries for 122 yards at Miami this season, would get the call.
New Orleans extended its lead to 24-0 on Hightower’s 1-yard run and a Kai Forbath 37-yard field goal. The Saints also sacked Bortles twice.
Jacksonville made a decision to test Breaux more than he had been targeted in weeks, particularly in the first half. “I was pretty much on the street, but at least it gave me time to rehab my injury”. Shoot, we’re guilty of demanding he get playing time, too.
Bortles threw for four touchdowns on Sunday but only three came when the game was somewhat close.
The defense has been bad. “Robinson and Hurns, they’re both great”. He has delivered in a big way, with 261 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns and 98 receiving yards.
The Saints will host the Jaguars today at 4:05PM ET with uncertainty surrounding their quarterback’s availability.
While he knows that there’s always speculation about changes heading into the offseason, he said that he can’t see himself with a team other than the Saints or playing for a coach other than Payton.
The Saints converted 8 of 13 third downs and punted only once until the final 28 seconds. Posluszny is making his case to stick around longer than some fans may be happy with. The tight end position as a group was pretty quiet on Sunday. The Jaguars should now sit receiver Allen Hurns for the final game. However, their effort in the first half would have made you think that they were pushed to watch the Texans vs. Titans with their eye lids being forced open like Alex from “A Clockwork Orange”. After all, they have a young nucleus to build around with Fowler, Marks, linebacker Telvin Smith and cornerbacks Davon House and Aaron Colvin.

So doesn’t it stand to reason that after 47 games, all with the same defensive coordinator, the Jaguars probably have to shake things up.
