The Beatles to stream music for first time on Christmas Eve
But just as mp3s replaced CD’s, streaming music has replaced mp3s, so The Beatles have finally gotten on board, buying a ticket to ride with nine streaming services starting Christmas Eve.

The streaming of The Beatles’ albums and collections will be readily available to Google Play Music subscribers on any device into which their Google account has been signed.
The band said on their website, “Happy Crimble, with love from us to you”, according to Reuters.
LONDON-The Beatles’ entire music catalog will be available on major streaming services as of 12:01 a.m. Thursday in each country’s time zone, the band’s label said.
Music fans had been discussing the band’s arrival to Apple Music’s streaming service for quite some time. However, Beatles’ appearance on Spotify will be a great means of recovery for a service that lost Ms. Swift due to her issues with the platform’s dynamics.
The announcement means that fans will be able to listen to the band’s songs on Spotify, Apple Music, Slacker, Tidal, Groove, Rhapsody, Deezer, Google Play and Amazon Prime. Some companies are also introducing special experiences of their own to enhance The Beatles’ music.
However, technology giant Apple entered the streaming market for the first time earlier this year with the launch of Apple Music, which already has around 15 million users across its paid and free trial tiers.
Streaming music has gained some major additions over the past couple of years, including Metallica and Led Zeppelin. Their music wasn’t even on iTunes until 2010.
Despite the rapid rise of streaming services in recent years, a number of artists opt not to stream their work.

At a time when popular artists like Adele and Taylor Swift have made a decision to shun streaming services, The Beatles’ latest move comes as a welcome change.
