Arca Space releases first flying hoverboard for $20000
ArcaBoard is now up for pre-orders and is likely to start shipping from 15 April 2016. On the plus side, ArcaBoard has the potential to become an all-terrain vehicle, given how it can glide over rocky grounds as well as water.

To achieve flight, the design features 36 high power electric ducted fans, which can reach a maximum thrust of 430 lbs. The propelling devices take up 90% of the space inside the board, which also has a built-in stabilization unit to help keep the rider in an upright position.
The board is also hard to stabilize, but this can be offset using a smartphone for navigational purposes. Folks who weigh more than 240lbs will only get about three minutes cruising.
Unlike the wheelie scooters that go by the same name, there is no danger of the ArcaBoard overheating, due to its high-performance cooling system, which controls the temperature even during intense usage.
Unlike hoverboard “impostors” like the uni-wheeled gyro skateboard or Lexus’ SLIDE board, the ArcaBoard actually levitates up to a height of one foot over surfaces.
PC World noted that the ArcaBoard is usually charged for six hours (for six minutes of use), but the manufacturers claim that there will be an optional charging dock that can power up the hoverboard in just 35 minutes. Unlike the phones’ chargers, though, ArcaDock is sold separately and is extremely expensive by normal standards.
Still, as one of ArcaBoard’s taglines says, “For the first time, every person will be able to fly anytime, anywhere”. “ArcaBoard is very real”, Arca’s Dragos Muresan wrote in an email. Arca’s Dragos Muresan has said that the device is loud and the sound volume can be compared to that of a motorcycle. The company could perhaps draw inspiration from Tesla Motors.

After the “hoverboard” frenzy this Christmas, the Arca Space Corporation offers us the real hoverboard we were waiting for. Maybe there will be a second version that is more affordable and less cumbersome if Arca Space Corporation decides to devote resources to maturing the vehicle.
