Boston Chipotle hit by norovirus reopens
Earlier this month, a Chipotle restaurant near Boston College closed after 136 patrons were sickened by norovirus. The restaurant has reopened this week after it passed health inspections on December 23.

Boston health inspectors cleared the restaurant to reopen Wednesday.
Boston’s Chief Health Inspector William Christopher, who ate at the burrito shop on Monday, “I am very comfortable coming here”. “They did a good job cleaning the place, and I want to let people know that I have confidence to go there and eat”, he added.
After eating at the Chipotle near Boston College, many people became ill including numerous college’s basketball team.
Nikhil Shankar, an emergency room doctor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, got takeout food from the Chipotle.
Recently, TheStreet’s Jim Cramer, Portfolio Manager of the Action Alerts PLUS Charitable Trust Portfolio commented on Chipotle, remainining optimistic: “The recent reports of outbreaks all came before the institutionalization of nationwide health standards that are the most strict of all restaurants”. He said that the “food was wonderful” and that there were no side effects.
MarketWatch report said, every year, it seems, Wall Street needs to learn the same lessons.
And revenues have expanded even faster, meaning each of those restaurants has been busier and busier. Don’t encourage management to be too aggressive.

The outbreak of norovirus that hit the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Boston was unrelated to the E.coli outbreaks in Chipotle restaurants in nine states, in which 52 people were affected.
