Kasich: Tamir Rice protesters ‘need to be heard’

In explaining the decision, Cuyahoga County prosecutor Tim McGinty said it was “indisputable” that the boy was drawing the pistol from his waistband when he was gunned down. Their performance lent credence to earlier criticisms from Tamir’s mother, Samaria, and her attorneys concerning the behavior of McGinty and his office before the grand jury: badgering and mocking expert witnesses provided by the family, weakening their own case while defending the officers’ due process.

Fairfield: 4-year-old boy drowns in bathtub
An investigation by Fairfield police detectives determined the boy was in the custody of and being cared for by Dawn D. Authorities said the death was suspicious and Major Crimes Unit launched an investigation into his death.

Mr McGinty, who announced the grand jury’s decision on Monday, blamed the emergency services dispatcher for not relaying that information to police.

Microsoft Addresses Shortage Issues with Elite Controller for Xbox One
This December, the company was true to its promise when it announced the addition of 16 more games to the 104 games in the list. Players have been asking Microsoft to take the game off the backwards compatibility list and opt for a remaster instead.

McGinty told cleveland.com (http://bit.ly/1RRpVXd ) that prosecutors decided they couldn’t get a conviction after seeing enhanced surveillance footage of the shooting.

Guus Hiddink dismisses talk of Cesc Fabregas leaving Chelsea in transfer window
It is thought that Chelsea could swap Diego Costa for Martinez this January as they make changes to their struggling front line. Fabregas’ dip in form could see him dropped by new manager Hiddink, which will likely just speed up his exit this January.

A young, white girl is standing in front of the Cudell Recreation Center gazebo where Rice was shot, holding a sign that says, “Would you have shot me if I was standing here playing with a toy gun?”.

In the wake of other police shootings, including the 2014 death of Laquan McDonald in Chicago, there have been calls for better police training and more community outreach by police.

It was “reasonable” to believe the officer who killed the boy believed Tamir was a threat, McGinty said this week, adding that the pellet gun looked like a real handgun.

It is unheard of, and highly improper, for a prosecutor to hire “experts” to try to exonerate the targets of a grand jury investigation.

TAMIR Rice was just 12 when he was shot down by police in Cleveland, Ohio. He insisted that “evidence did not indicate criminal conduct by police”, and that Patrolman Timothy Loehmann’s belief that Rice’s toy gun was real was justified.

“Both of the officers are and will remain on restricted duty”, he said.

The officers said they believed Rice was older than 12. And on Monday, the grand jury did not.

“In the wake of the grand jury’s decision not to indict the police officers involved in the shooting, we urge the Department of Justice to continue and deepen its investigation into the case”. James is from OH and plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, so folks think that his involvement in the protest would strike a hard blow to the heart of America-especially since we’re knee-deep in the National Basketball Association season. McGinty was abusing and manipulating the grand jury process to orchestrate a vote against indictment….

“She doesn’t know what she can do”, Chandra said.

The city settled a lawsuit brought by the victims’ families for a total of $3 million in 2014, months before a criminal case involving one of the officers went to trial. But knowing that no case involving police will fall into the hands of a local prosecutor like McGinty is the immediate preventative measure all state governments must take.
