Clinton, the former secretary of state during President Barack Obama’s first term, seemed ebullient after a solid performance in her party’s presidential debate Saturday night, and she is pivoting toward confronting the Republicans and blasting GOP front-runner Trump, a billionaire real-estate developer. Bernie Sanders of Vermont a distant second at 34 percent, according to the latest Fox News poll. He also blasted the “incompetence” the DNC’s Web vendor, saying it had dropped Clinton data into his campaign’s lap a few times.
The tensions between the Clinton campaign, the Sanders campaign and the Democratic National Committee have recently been at their highest point, thanks largely to a data breach that left the Sanders campaign accused of stealing the Clinton campaign’s data.
During a commercial break for ABC News’ debate, Clinton quickly ran off stage to the use bathroom, only to find out that Lis Smith, the deputy campaign manager for former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, was already using it, the Boston Globe reported.
“If the United States does not lead, there is not another leader – there is a vacuum”, she said.
The debate, lasting more than two hours, was the third for Democrats and was expected to have low viewership given that it was scheduled on the last weekend before Christmas when many Americans have turned their attention to the holidays.
In a preview of what could be the final matchup in the 2016 presidential race, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been accelerating their attacks on each other in a series of nasty exchanges.
Why some say the DNC is favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. He said he does not support any “unilateral military action” but rather a coalition in which the US works hand in hand with Muslim nations to fight the radical militant group.
Later, Sanders said Wall Street greedhounds are destroying America and the middle class.
“Not only will I oppose any efforts to cut Social Security benefits”, Sanders said.

“I would just ask that when this nomination is wrapped up that they come and join with us to make sure that we don’t turn the White House back over to the Republicans”, she added. But the Clinton campaign insists that they are taking nothing for granted.
