Chelsea dressing room better under Hiddink, says Mikel
John Mikel Obi has admitted the atmosphere in the Chelsea dressing room has improved, just three games after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

“We’re down there in the table for a reason so [Hiddink] can’t come in and perform miracles, but we want to get out of there”.
Midfielder Schneiderlin said: “We talked before the game and said it was a must for us to be aggressive, to be on the front foot and to attack, just for our fans because they deserve to see some attractive football”.
“We’ve moved on from that and the atmosphere has improved since the change of manager”, he added. “We will see what happens when he gets back”, Mendes said.
Chelsea sit in 14th spot on the Premier League table after a poor start to their title defence, which has seen them axe manager Jose Mourinho recently due to poor results. Is it the right decision?
EPL defending Champion, Chelsea have garnered 20 points from 19 games and are just three points away from the relegation zone.
Mikel has featured in all three matches since the managerial change and, having come off the bench against Sunderland and Watford, he played the full 90 minutes against Manchester United, partnering Nemanja Matic in midfield.
Emenalo described as a “palpable discord” between the former manager and his players.
The 69-year-old claimed to have lifted the players’ spirits in only a handful of training sessions after walking into a hard situation, in which his first job was to improve their morale.
Further, Mikel went on to say that Chelsea’s decline this season is collectively a fault of the players and the manager. “If we keep going in this direction and keep keeping clean sheets then we’ll definitely score goals”.

United were pressing but not creating a lot of chances, and I think the two best chances were the saves by both goalkeepers, tremendous saves by David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois.
