Curry’s triple-double leads Warriors past Kings 122-103
“It was a very cool moment”, the Golden State star said.

After falling behind by as many as 11 points in a first half that interim coach Luke Walton characterized as a “pick-up game”, the Warriors responded to a rare tongue-lashing from Kerr at halftime to storm past the Sacramento Kings 122-103. No play was more impressive than one sequence in his 17-point stretch in which he never stopped running – he makes a finger roll, gets back on defense just in time to contest his brother Seth Curry’s shot, and runs back on the court to grab the loose-ball rebound before chucking a 27-footer. Watching those stars fail to return value might be one of the worst feelings in DFS, right along with rostering a late scratch or missing out on a sensational bargain play. He’s done that probably once a game, had a run like that. “You’ve got to keep fresh guys out there running at him, and again we haven’t talked about Thompson yet”.
Nevertheless, Monday’s game proved to be action-packed, thanks to Casspi’s terrific shooting, and his decision to go one-for-one against Curry (considered one of the greatest shooters in National Basketball Association history).
The Warriors have listed Curry as questionable for Wednesday’s game in Dallas. Stephen Curry is averaging 30.5 points and 6.4 assists while Klay Thompson is averaging 19.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. After sitting out most of the first half in foul trouble, Cousins was upset after getting called for his fifth foul in the third quarter. They’re also fed up with Cousins’ uncontrollable outbursts and what they say is coach George Karl’s inability to control him. “But we can’t emotionally lose it”.
Popovich was thrown out with 1:13 remaining in the first half on two successive technical fouls following a non-call on LaMarcus Aldridge. Cousins had seven points and four rebounds when he was ejected. The Warriors are 20-8-1 ATS in the last 29 meetings in Dallas and 37-16-1 ATS in the last 54 meetings overall. “We fell into that trap, and they played us into it”, Warriors center Andrew Bogut said. Kings SF Omri Casspi’s nine 3-pointers matched PG Mike Bibby’s franchise record….
Chris Paul scored 23 points and reserve Jamal Crawford added 21 for the Clippers, who got 54 points from substitutes in their second straight win since Griffin was ruled out for at least two weeks with a quadriceps strain.
Barea had 32 and 26 points in back-to-back wins against Brooklyn and Chicago last week, and his seven made three-pointers against the Bulls was part of an overall 3-point barrage.
