But his attorneys have repeatedly denied any wrongdoing by Cosby, who has gone from megastar to pariah in the face of the allegations, which span four decades. It is alleged that he plied this young woman with alcohol and some unidentified drugs, at which point she was rendered helpless, barely if at all conscious, and then sexually assaulted. In court papers, prosecutors said the drugs were the cold medicine Benadryl or some other, unidentified substance. This year, Castor said the allegations in Constand’s lawsuit were more serious than the account she gave police.

“I’ve never seen anything like this”, she said of the charge, but lamented that for many alleged victims, justice would never be an option.

Cosby was fingerprinted at a police station near the Elkins Park courtroom.

Apparently, Cosby did not receive the message, prosecutors say, because made a second pass at Constand during a subsequent encounter. He reportedly agreed in court to have no contact with his accuser.
