Guus Hiddink has revealed that Cesc Fabregas is on course to be available for Chelsea’s trip to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea have offered Montreal Impact’s Didier Drogba a position on the team’s coaching staff and have held talks with Montreal over the former Blues striker.

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink says that Cesc Fabregas comes to work with a “smile”, despite rumours that the midfielder could leave the club in the summer.

The promising forward has rarely featured this season, but having played against Swansea in his last appearance for the club, said: “If I were being honest, it has been bad”. It was intense but today they were recovering on the pitch which means they are OK. But Hiddink said: “He’s our player”.
