‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ details: Adam Driver muses on his character
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has done a great job at using George Lucas’ original trilogy as a reference point, bypassing any acknowledgement of the prequels – except for the Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) voice over in Rey’s vision which has him saying, “Rey, these are your first steps”.

The film doesn’t spell it out, but Star Wars fans have constructed plenty of theories.
Stuff like that. Kylo Ren was the best.
The story centers on Bazine Netal, the First Order agent who sells out Rey, Finn, Han Solo, and Chewbacca at Maz Kanata’s cantina in The Force Awakens. The package was last seen with Jor Tribulus, a deceased stormtrooper captain that fought in the Battle of Endor. We know he’s the galaxy’s biggest Darth Vader fanboy, and it’s certainly possible that he hired someone to track this down for him-one of the earliest rumors we heard about Adam Driver’s character, before we even knew his name, was that he was obsessed with tracking down Sith artifacts, which certainly plays into this. Still, it’s as plausible an explanation as any we’ve heard so far.
Another one was: ‘fine I will go to the dance dad but I will not dance I will wear a dark peacoat and stand in the corner with hux passing judgement on everyone’.

Although it’s all speculation, Youtube user Star Wars Minute, may have found the answer. According to the above video, this question may have been answered by “The Perfect Weapon”, a Star Wars canonical short story published in November as a tie-in with The Force Awakens. Not to scare you all, but it doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t see Christensen make some sort of cameo appearance in the next two instalments. This way, the story still gets out there for anyone who cares to find it, but it doesn’t drag down the larger movie arc.
