The filmmakers behind the 1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies claim in a lawsuit filed Wednesday a franchise rights holder owes them $3 million in profits from the films.

During the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, IGN Live managed to sit down with actor Stephen Amell, who revealed several interesting details regarding his iteration of the fan favorite character- the hockey wielding vigilante Casey Jones. Jones has clearly had situations in days gone by, except a new audio interview with the use of Amell demonstrates that modern-day edition of the ice hockey mask-wearing criminal activity stylist might just be the most acute handle comic character.
“It’s certainly not your father’s or your younger self’s Casey Jones, but that’s because we meet him at a very different time in his development”, Amell said of the film that debuts in June of next year.
The actor had previously set the record straight about the similarities Casey Jones share with Oliver Queen, the character he plays on the hit TV series “Arrow“. After seeing all the frightful crimes committed on the streets every day, Casey tries to bring justice through the law, but after being laughed at for doing so, he “decides to take matters into his own hands”.
Another key difference comes in the form of a slick ride for Casey Jones too. And it’s not the only vehicle we’ve seen from the movie since pictures of a garbage truck that will be driven by the turtles surfaced online back in April along with a Polaris Slingshot that will also come in handy.
The “Arrow” star will be starring in the sequel of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and will be portraying Casey Jones, the hockey-loving masked vigilante that will be featured in said film. And of course Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Alan Ritchson, and Jeremy Howard return as turtles Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello.

The original trilogy – ending with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time, in 1993 – made over $300m worldwide.
