Cosby criminal case involves lesbian
Comedian Bill Cosby was charged Wednesday by a Pennsylvania district attorney with a felony sex count relating to a 2004 assault alleged by ex-Temple University employee Andrea Constand.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is still weighing whether to file a case against Cosby stemming from an alleged 2008 sexual assault at the Playboy Mansion.
Prosecutors said Cosby used wine and drugs to render her incapable of resistance after “the much younger, athletic” Constand blocked two previous sexual advances.
The women were mostly from the world of modeling, acting or other entertainment fields, and Cosby or his representatives denied any wrongdoing, accusing some of them of trying to extract money from him or get ahead in show business. Cosby is expected to appear in court today.
“The victim did not consent to any of these acts and reported that she was unable to move or speak and felt “frozen” and ‘paralyzed, ‘” prosecutors added.
It was the first criminal case to be filed against the 78-year-old married comedian, who dozens of women have accused of drugging and sexually assaulting them.
Prosecutors in Montgomery County announced that Cosby is being charged with “aggravated indecent assault”.
Constand, who now works as a massage therapist in her native Canada, is “gratified” with the response she was receiving Wednesday, her attorney told NBC News.
And while Troiani said that Constand was “gratified with the overwhelming positive response to today’s events”, and that several other women with “heart-wrenching accounts” of their own had reached out to her, she did lament that the charges took more than a decade to be brought.
The lawsuit alleges defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, saying Cosby and Johnson never spent any time alone in his house, he never drugged her and “her story is a lie”.
In January 2004, she went to Cosby’s nearby home seeking career advice and he urged her to take three blue pills, Mr Steele said.
An arrest warrant was issued for Cosby, Montgomery County First Assistant District Attorney Kevin R. Steele told a news conference. “How can you ever believe anything the guy says going forward?”
Prosecutors are right up against the expiration of the 12-year statue of limitations for sexual assault cases in Pennsylvania, which will close early next year.
Bill Cosby arrives Wednesday at the Courthouse in Elkins Park, Pa., to face charges of aggravated indecent assault.
The Cosby controversy escalated from a persistent rumor to a flood of sexual abuse claims in July after a federal judge unsealed testimony in a 2005 deposition. I hope this just isn’t about Cosby.
He then allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Some of the alleged incidents date back to the 1960s, though many accusers had not spoken publicly until recently.
