Delhi cricketing body to sue Kejriwal, Azad
The party released two letters, which it said proved that Jaitley tried to cover up his alleged involvement in a corruption scandal.

In a letter to party chief Amit Shah, soon after he was suspended on Decemebr 23, Azad had claimed that he was a loyal BJP soldier and had not done anything against the party.
BJP sources said the notice is a standard follow-up to suspension of a party leader and a decision on expulsion of Azad, who has continued to attack finance minister Arun Jaitley over the Delhi cricket body (DDCA) affairs, will depend on his reply.
“We challenge Jaitley to deny that on October 27, 2011 he had written a letter to the then police commissioner of Delhi, BK Gupta, asking for closure of investigation in Indraprastha Police Station against DDCA office bearers regarding the Syndicate Bank cricket team”, said Ashutosh.
Addressing a press conference, AAP claimed that the letters were written by Jaitley to the Delhi Police on a case linked to the Delhi and District Cricket Administration.
However, Kejriwal alleged that the investigation agency, which reports to the central government, raided his office too and read the files related to DDCA to save Jaitley.
Azad, on Wednesday targeted many more politicians, including BJP MP and BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur. The probe committee, which was set up by DDCA to look into the matter of Syndicate Bank fraud, was headed by none other than Chauhan in 2011-12.
“There are two types of clubs namely institutional and private”.
Azad also supported Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s allegation that a DDCA official had sought sexual favours from a woman if she wanted her son to be part of its cricket team.
Thousands of civil defence volunteers will be deployed to assist the Traffic Police, enforcement teams of Delhi government’s transport department and authorised sub- divisional magistrates, to implement the scheme which will kick in at 8 AM on Friday.
“Under the Companies Act, 1956, all the directors were to be assigned particular roles and if they are not, then the term (for action against them) is compounding”. “It has been three years since the recommendation but they have not been prosecuted”, he said.
Reacting to Kejriwal’s allegation, DDCA acting president Chetan Chouhan said “false” charges were being levelled against the state cricket association and it was forced to take legal recourse against those spreading such misinformation.
The confusion soon came out in the open as DDCA treasurer Gopi Manchanda told dna that “DDCA will only press for defamation case against Kejriwal and not against any cricketer, Azad in particular”. On the other side the DDCA has called the allegations completely baseless.
