Bruins’ Julien, Patriots’ Belichick talk coaching, share skate on Gillette ice
Canadiens goaltender Mike Condon was the first to release his mask, which features Bill Belichick and the Patriots’ four Lombardi Trophies on the the back of his headpiece.

But, while Condon’s mask had a nice subtle nod to the Belichick’s Patriots, he was outdone by Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask, who went with a much bolder approach.
The New England Patriots coach hit the ice alongside Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien.
The Patriots need a win against the Miami Dolphins to secure the top seed in the AFC. He’s a great guy.
“Oh, yeah. I mean we didn’t have a lot of ice in Maryland, but skated at Andover, skated (at) Wesleyan”, Belichick said. “I think we probably have a lot in common, the way coach and look at the game and look at the team and things like that”.
“Hey, gotta get in the spirit, ready for that Winter Classic, yessir”, Belichick smiled, knowing he was giving everyone a good photo op. “So I asked him if he wanted to skate, and he said he’d love to”, said Julien.
I’d be shocked if during one of those laps around the rink Belichick didn’t brainstorm a new wrinkle for the blitz package or scheme up another ineligible receiver play for the National Football League to outlaw this year.
“He’s played hockey before, and I told him before I went out there, I said those skates are going to be a lot stiffer than what you’re used to”, said Julien.
Puck drop for the 2016 Bridgestone Winter Classic is set for 1:00 p.m. ET. “I wish I could have played hockey”.

“I was super aggressive”, Gronkowski told the media. “Fights, goals scored, checks”, he said, adding he gave up hockey for basketball.
