Check out this stunning close-up video of the SpaceX rocket’s flawless touchdown

Monday night’s mission was the first time SpaceX has been able to successfully touch down the Falcon 9 post-launch.

Auburn’s defense, big second half seals Birmingham Bowl victory over Memphis
Auburn’s third-year coach ended up using those packages to the offense’s advantage and making Johnson the unlikely hero. Ball had two interceptions in the game and returned one of them 53 yards for a touchdown before his postgame antics.

The Falcon 9 rocket put 11 ORBCOMM satellites into orbit as planned in SpaceX’s first mission since they had a rocket unexpectedly explode just moments into an ISS resupply mission. However, Elon Musk’s SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is capable of launching cargo into orbit.

South Korea “comfort women” reject deal with Japan
The head of a group of Filipino victims of sexual abuse by Japanese soldiers during WW2 welcomed the deal with South Korea. South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se said the agreement was “final and irreversible”.

“This should, if all goes well, give us enough performance to deliver 11 satellites to orbit and bring the booster all the way back to Cape Canaveral to Landing Zone 1”, added Musk. Upon landing, the rocket was still vertical and completely intact, which is a massive success for Elon and SpaceX in their aspiration to make rockets reusable.

USA air strikes in Afghan district under Taliban siege
The Afghan forces had some support from the United States, the spokesman for NATO’s Operation Resolute Support told CNN on Thursday.

Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin company has landed a smaller, suborbital rocket in November.

On the other hand United States space agency NASA also to Twitter to congratulate the Musk company. During the monumental event, the first-stage rocket separated from it’s upper-stage booster.

SpaceX switched to a new supplier for the steel struts and upgraded its testing program, Musk later told reporters.

Their goal is to recycle the first stage, including its expensive engines, so it can be used repeatedly, lowering the cost of space travel.

The launch had been delayed several times so SpaceX employees could fix glitches in the rocket’s redesign, which was meant to give it more power.

The first stage of the rocket appeared to settle down firmly and stick the landing.

SpaceX said landing the rocket was a secondary priority at the Monday launch. This made SpaceX the first commercial company to visit International Space Station. The satellites will provide machine to machine communication for Internet of Things applications on Earth.

SpaceX says that with this technology space flight can become cheaper, as they would no longer need to build a new rocket for every launch.
