Continuing its offensive against him, AAP released two letters, purportedly written by Jaitley, to then Delhi Police Commissioner B.K. Gupta and then Special Commissioner Ranjit Narayan, requesting them to “fairly” deal with the matter and “close” the case since “DDCA has done no wrong”.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday issued second showcause notice to suspended MP Kirti Azad.
Nine days back, the party had suspended him alleging that he was indulging in anti-party activities by publicly taking on Arun Jaitley despite the fact that BJP president Amit Shah had cautioned him not to indulge in mud slinging which is embarrassing to the organisation.
Azad had roped in BJP leader Subramanian Swamy to draft a reply to his suspension notice and approached the party’s Margadarshak Mandal for support.
“Under the Companies Act, 1956, all the directors were to be assigned particular roles and if they are not, then the term (for action against them) is compounding”.
“Twentyfour executive members and three government nominees were not assigned any role… this is violation of Section 5G of the Companies Act”, he added. 24 of them including Jaitley did not compound.
The DDCA had held a press conference yesterday 30 December 2015 claiming that there was no corruption in players’ selection in the DDCA under Mr. Arun Jaitley. This happened between 2001 and 2003, when Mr Jaitley was the DDCA president, ” the AAP said. “Mr Jaitley, can you deny the specific allegations made by Indian skipper Virat Kohli?”. You have both inside and outside Parliament conducted yourself in a manner which clearly amounts to indiscipline and anti-party activities…
Azad alleged that DDCA officials who had no money in their bank accounts became multi-millionaires through corruption and now owned huge farm houses and other properties.

AAP said Kohli, the India Test captain, in an interview had claimed a rotten state of affairs in the DDCA when it was headed Jaitley.
