‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Creators Hope for China Success
The likely cause for the record is Universal’s Jurassic World and Disney’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the two highest grossing films of the year.

In fact, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going to surpass Avatar’s domestic record by the end of the weekend, adding some weight to theories that it will be the first film to earn $1 billion in the US. Now the full interview has been released, and we have even more of George Lucas being obviously unhappy with the direction that Disney has taken his beloved Star Wars. She also said they could explore the mythologies in Chinese literature and incorporate them into the next installment of the movie. Every movie I work very hard to make them completely different, with different planets, with different spaceships, make it new.
For those of you who don’t know, “The Force Awakens” is the first movie in a new trilogy being directed by J.J. Abrams, the brilliant mind behind the new Star Trek movies.

Lucas also explains how him an Disney had different ideas for the path of the popular space films.
Lucas’ interview with Rose sounded a little like sour grapes when he acknowledged Disney’s purchase of the franchise ended his own plans to write and direct the sequels to “Return of the Jedi”. “Do that.’ And be there to help guide it”.

In an interview with Charlie Rose, Lucas called his Star Wars films “kids” and then admitted to Rose that he “sold them to the white slavers that take these things, and…” “I didn’t want to go through life feeling like I was just riding a wave”, the star told the LA Times.
