Cruz Raises $20 Million In Fourth Quarter
Marco Rubio answers a question during the CNN Republican Presidential Debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California on September 16, 2015. Christie teed off on Rubio’s decision not to vote on a budget bill that the senator had panned.

Cruz, she said, “understands the conservative grassroots, what we want”.
MCCAMMON: In a year when voters are flocking to candidates like Cruz and Donald Trump, Rubio is telling Iowa voters he also cares about immigration and border security.
“Bush’s team dishonestly omits that Marco is on the Senate’s Intelligence Committee, where he attended the highest level briefings on the Paris attacks”, spokesman Alex Conant said in response to the new ad.
“I’m going to vote for Marco Rubio, and I’ll tell you why”.
With just hours to go before the end of the year, presidential campaigns are blasting supports with emails in an attempt to boost their fundraising totals for the fourth quarter of 2015. Barack Obama did when he was running for president.
This issue has come up before over the course of Rubio’s campaign.
Since summer, Sen. Ted Cruz, a favorite to win Iowa, has logged 61 events in the Hawkeye State, about 50% more than Rubio, according to a National Journal candidate tracking tool.
“The Florida senator kicked off an Iowa tour yesterday, as a super political action committee backing Jeb Bush announced a new ad in the state accusing Rubio of missing a Senate meeting after the November terrorist attacks in Paris”.
“I have lived numerous things that people face”, Rubio said. “I grew up paycheck to paycheck”. There is a quote from a Santorum campaign official saying that Rubio’s immigration record is “more honest” than Cruz’s, but that’s in the context of condemning both. He was asked by Bill Clinton’s Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who wanted to put USA “boots on the ground” in the Balkans, why we spend so much on the military if we didn’t want to use it. Gen. Powell’s reply was simple enough: “We spend that money so we won’t have to use it”. Politics first thats the Rubio way, the ads narrator intoned.
While supporters say Rubio just needs to stay in the top cluster in the first few states, some see his approach as risky.

Republican White House frontrunner Donald Trump said on Tuesday he will start spending millions of dollars in hard-hitting campaign advertising in the run-up to the first votes in the 2016 presidential race. Chris Christie and John Kasich. Most agree he doesn’t actually need to win the caucuses, but must emerge as the establishment’s leader. The Republican caucuses drew about 120,000 voters in 2008 and 2012 – roughly 20 percent of registered Republicans.
