Clemson piled up 550 yards in the game, sealing the victory on Gallman’s 4-yard touchdown run with 10:48 remaining.
Clemson rushed for more than 300 yards, with Wayne Gallman and Deshaun Watson accounting for 295 of them.
The Tigers defense also forced 2 interceptions in the 2nd half from Ben Boulware and BJ Goodson. The Sooners took the opening kickoff and went 75 yards in 10 plays. On third-and-8, he flailed a throw to the end zone looking for tight end Jordan Leggett (zero catches) and was intercepted by Zack Sanchez. Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield passed for 311 yards and a touchdown before being knocked out of the game due to injury in the fourth quarter. Still, despite the disappointing finish to the season, the Sooners aren’t going anywhere.

Clemson’s secondary missed too many tackles: Oklahoma was able to hang around early on, thanks in large part to poor tackling by the Clemson defense, especially the secondary.
