Poise the word as Bulls pull out win over Thunder

While the Thunder failed to get key contributions from other players, the Bulls got a double-double from Taj Gibson, who had 13 points and 10 rebounds to help the team improve to a 5-6 win-loss record on the road. Denver has lost six straight games at Oklahoma City.

‘We’re not making the allegation against Peyton Manning’
It was Al Jazeera that ran with that report about Peyton Manning taking performance-enhancing substances, after all… In an appearance on NBC’s “Today” show this week, Davies stressed that Al Jazeera never said Manning used HGH.

The Thunder appeared to wake from their slumber to start the fourth quarter, scoring a quick five points to open the frame.

Bill Cosby Is Coming for Beverly Johnson
Embattled comedian Bill Cosby has added model Beverly Johnson to the list of women he is taking to court for defamation. Cosby recently filed a counterclaim for defamation against the seven other women who filed suit in Springfield.

“I think we did a really good job of making sure we closed out to three-point shooters”, Rose said. Jokic has earned his coach’s trust, Harris is playing like a legit starting 2 guard, Lauvergne is still growing his game even through mistakes and setting career highs.

Michigan State Football ‘Unfinished Business’ rap is unbelievable
At this point, the Spartans are committed to finishing the season with a rotation because changing now isn’t worth the risk. I’m a defensive back guy. “There will be time for that and there will be a place for that and we’re moving towards that”.

They forced the manic Westbrook into six turnovers, as he missed six of his seven triples on the way to hitting just nine of his 23 shots.

Five Thunder players finished in double figures as the team shot almost 58% from the field. “Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the world”.

“If you try to get it all back in one play, try to get a steal, try to come down and shoot a pull-up 3 – just doing stupid stuff that we did all night, it will be tough to win”, Durant said.

With 4:58 left in the second quarter, the Bulls led the Thunder 51-37.

And after the late second-quarter lull pulled the Thunder to within two at the half, the Bulls jumped out to an 8-0 run at the start of the third, re-establishing tempo and control. OKC’s shooting went cold and they scored just 16 points and had as many turnovers (5) as made field goals in the quarter, trailing the Bulls 86-68 headed to the fourth.

All the effort the Thunder made to erase that early deficit went to waste on the third quarter.

Kanter added two free throws to stretch the lead to six, and a layup from Joffrey Lauvergne, a Westbrook Dunk and a fastbreak Dunk from Serge Ibaka put Oklahoma City up 107-99 with 5:09 to play.

The most glaring statistic in the Nuggets’ loss to the San Antonio Spurs was the discrepancy in points scored off of turnovers.

But against the Nuggets, Durant and Westbrook combined for 22 of the team’s 27 assists, becoming the first teammates since John Stockton and Karl Malone in 1996 to register at least 25 points and 10 assists in a regulation game. Durant and Westbrook led the way, as Oklahoma City chipped away at the Bulls’ lead.

Heat 94, Pelicans 88, OT: Chris Bosh had 30 points and 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 19 points to move into No. 3 on the NBA’s Christmas Day list and Miami survived some shaky moments to beat New Orleans. Pau Gasol tops in rebounds with 10.8 and in blocks with 2.2 per game.

There were plenty of highlights to choose from in tonight’s game, but I chose this 3-pointer by Gary Harris for the play of the game because it was the best example of spacing, player movement and ball movement that I’ve seen from the Nuggets in a long time.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 29 points.
