IPad Pro rumors: Is rumored device launching in November?, Ecumenical News

Foxconn has reportedly received orders only for the 12.9-inch jumbo version, dubbed Apple iPad Pro and the mini variant Apple iPad Mini 4 with 7.9-inch display. There are slim chances that Apple would upgrade the iPad Air 2, but reports state the company has constrained supplies of the variant to third-party vendors, so it could become a low-priced option as the iPad Air 3 enters the fold. This is the usual release pattern that Apple is following for quite some time now. But aside from the rumored rear shell cover that it will come out with, the next-generation iPad mini will only feature upgraded specs from the previous editions of the device.

The camera on the iPad Air 3 will also be an improvement over the 8 megapixel camera in the iPad Air 2.

The latest batch of rumors and speculations suggest that when Apple has finished launching the latest batch of iPhones in September this year, the company will start focusing on its tablets.

In an interview with Chinese website Economic Daily News, Fubon Hardware investment advisor Liaoxian Li stated that Apple will halt production of a new iPad Air until next year.

Take this report with a grain of salt though. Many people are already anticipating the Apple will make minor changes on the iPad Air 2 and release the new device as iPad Pro. On a general point of view, the iPad Air 2 is still having a similar overall design as the iPad Air; however the processor boost offers 2.5x quicker GPU performance and 40% faster CPU performance over the iPad Air’s A7 chip.

Right now, there was not a single shred of official information regarding the iPad Air 3 which most users are expecting this fall. In the meantime, the Wall Street Journal reports the iPad Pro will house a stylus in addition to the optional keyboard and mouse. Foxconn was also tasked to create the iPad mini 4, which, as reported by rumors, is scheduled to be released alongside the iPad Pro.
