Bryant wins one last time in Boston
Retiring Kobe Bryant struggled through a miserable shooting night but hit a key 3-pointer with 1:40 left in his last appearance at TD Garden as the Los Angeles Lakers held on for a 112-104 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. This Wednesday’s trip to Boston will be one of the most unique moments of the season as Bryant will step foot on the parquet floor of the TD Garden for the final time.

The argument of whether or not Kobe Bryant should be in this season’s NBA All-Star Game isn’t really about the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, but about the selection process itself.
The work Crowder has put in has caught the eye of many, including Lakers star Kobe Bryant.
As tough as the 2008 loss was, the 2010 victory was the sweetest in the storied career of one of the NBA’s greatest legends and cemented Bryant’s name in Lakers history. After Bryant grabbed a rebound, the Celtics intentionally fouled Brandon Bass, leading to Lakers and Celtics fanbases trying outduel each other with Bryant chants and jeers.
In this article, we’ll compare Kobe against some of the all-time Laker greats to see where he measures up on the list of the franchise’s best.
After the draft, the Hornets traded the youngster to the Los Angeles Lakers for centre Vlade Divac.
Bryant sat on the bench for a few seconds and soaked in the adulation for a few seconds as the Celtics public address announcer uttered his name in lineup introductions.
The Celtics Lakers rivalry is not almost as intense and competitive as it used to be, but NBA.com looks into how they captured a bit of the past. Randle more than made up for Hibbert’s no-show. I said ‘listen, it’s fine, it’s fine.
As if it could stop him from playing one last time here.
During that time, Celtics fans only cheered for Bryant when he collected fouls or missed shots.
Russell turned it on in the second quarter, scoring nine straight points for the Lakers and helping lead a surge to take the lead. Isaiah Thomas scored 21 points and Even Turner added 19 points to lead the Celtics. “And we tried to fight back and claw back and made it a game late in the fourth but it was too late”. Bryant finished with a team-high 20 points in the Lakers 108-98 loss and said that he was moved by the cheers from the crowd. He reminded them all they needed to do was go home and win two games.
“I grew up a really big historian of the game”, Bryant said. Why would you do that to me?

Bryant promised: “I think one thing we can trust as sports fans is you can trust the sports gods are going to line these teams up again”.
