Clinton campaign reports $37M in primary money in Q4
Helped by several fundraisers headlined by former President Bill Clinton, most of Hillary Clinton’s money came via traditional fundraising events, where the price of entry was often the legal maximum donation of $2,700 for the primary.

In 2015, Clinton set a goal to raise at least $100 million by the end of December – a benchmark the campaign says it has surpassed, hauling in more than $112 million in primary money for the year.
Clinton, now a Democratic candidate for the White House, did not publicly endorse marriage equality until after she stepped down from her post as secretary of state.
The State Department said it “worked diligently” to meet the court’s release schedule but could not do so because of the large number of documents involved and the holidays.
Most of the emails consist of standard correspondence between Clinton’s staff discussing everything from scheduling to interesting news articles, but they occasionally offer a behind-the-scenes peek into the Democratic presidential candidate’s highly-guarded life.
According to one email, Sydney Blumenthal, former senior adviser to Clinton informed her in 2009 that German Chancellor Angela Merkel loathed the “Obama phenomenon”.
Sullivan added, “I suppose a near-term fix is to just send messages to this account – my personal account – and I will check it more frequently”.
Clinton showed keen interest in the politics of her hometown of Chicago when longtime Mayor Richard M. Daley announced in September 2010 he would not run for re-election.
“Unbelievable”, Clinton wrote, surmising that the paper probably took her out of the picture, “perhaps because no woman should be in such a place of power or that I am dressed immodestly!!” Capricia Marshall, a Clinton insider and the chief of protocol, was also listed as someone who should ride with the secretary of state.

But her campaign has also received a wave of smaller donations, particularly after Clinton’s testimony before the Benghazi committee in Congress and following her debate performances, aides said.
