The Rebels defeated No. 6 Georgia, No. 6 LSU, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 3 Arkansas that season, with the victory over the Razorbacks coming in the Sugar Bowl.

But none of this is Ole Miss’ concern, as the Rebels continued what’s been a very strong bowl season for the SEC, and the SEC West in particular.
Ole Miss’s stirring first half was so complete that it included an unexpected contribution from vaunted offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil.

“You study film, you play the percentages”, Freeze said. With Walsh inserted as a running threat, the passing game also loosened up for Oklahoma State, and they scored their two touchdowns of the game and had another opportunity inside the 10, but turned the ball over on downs. He went on to note: “I have a leadership council that is formed especially for this week to help me set the parameters, the expectations in regards to curfew and our different visits that we had to go on, who was going, and I think it’s worked really, really well”. Eli Manning was the quarterback of the Rebels’ 2004 team.
