Entertainment Tonight, which broke the story, says Rogers died from complication from pneumonia.

Later life was spent as a money manager and investor, with Wayne a regular panellist on a Fox News stock investment show.

The actor is survived by his spouse, Amy, and his youngsters Bill and Laura from his first marriage to actress Mitzi McWhorter.
