“Pls let him know Bill called – unsuccessfully”, Clinton responded, a reference to her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

The campaign said it raised $112 million for the primary since it launched in April. “Helping Democratic candidates win up and down the ticket is a top priority for Hillary Clinton which is why she’s also proud to be doing her part to ensure Democrats have the resources we need to win”.
Democratic primary front-runner Hillary Clinton on Saturday said she will unveil tax proposals this month that “go beyond the Buffett Rule”, according to Bloomberg Politics.
She previously hinted at the proposal at a December rally in Omaha, Neb., where the former secretary of State was introduced by Warren Buffett – the philanthropist billionaire for whom the tax plan is named.
Clinton’s $37 million in primary dollars in the fourth quarter set a new record for the best off-year Q4 for a non-incumbent.
CNN reported earlier this week that Clinton raised at least $21 million at fundraisers she personally headlined in the fourth quarter of 2015, a number that nearly guaranteed she would break the $100 million goal. Since he launched his campaign, he has received more than 2.3 donations and raised over $40 million.
Cruz’s campaign said in a memo to supporters that he will finish the year having raised more than $45 million, but it did not disclose how much the campaign has spent or how much cash it has on hand.
The Clinton campaign says more than 60 percent of its donors in 2015 were women.
