A seasonable start to 2016
There may be a few snow showers late this afternoon, but it doesn’t look like much.

For the 3:25 p.m. Chiefs game Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium, expect sun again, and slightly cooler, with highs going into the high 30s.
It’s a quiet start to the new year, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures around 40 degrees today. Highs will be in the 30s to lower 40s with a westerly breeze.
Skies are expected to clear in the afternoon. Expect 40s and low 50s each day and 20s each night. It will be a mild day with highs reaching near 50.

This weekend promises highs and lows that are pretty close to normal for this time of the year. Sunday, another disturbance rotating in, brings yet another shot of colder air for the overnight period into the start of next week. Overnight lows will be in the 20s and 30s until the middle of next week, when we may see slightly warmer temperatures and an increase in clouds and slight rain chances.
