Players and coaches on the Alabama sideline have been seeing that All-American level of play in practice all season. It’s more of a front 11 or 12 with how many linemen the Tide are able to rotate in the game at any given time. A team that faced the No. 3 team in the country and annihilated them. So I think this was a great team win for us.

Welp, Coker done beat em pretty good. And Coker, thanks in no small part to the efforts of his receivers, was excellent: 25-of-30 for 286 yards and two touchdowns. Third-ranked Michigan State finished 12-2.
Calvin Ridley was also a stud on the outside.
But don’t let Ridley’s numbers fool you.
Despite Smart’s impending departure, Hall has recently began building a relationship with new Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, who held the same position at Georgia and Florida State, respectively. Tight end Michael Nysewander said Coker led the team’s off-field approach in Dallas.
The championship game sets up as a showdown between Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and Alabama’s defense. It burned Alabama so badly to be beaten in the College Football Playoff semifinals previous year that the Crimson Tide was determined to handle its business differently this time around. Yet, when it comes to the title game, it’ll be a team from Alabama against a team from SC. Just look at recent history. Ohio State, with Ezekiel Elliot, got the best of the Tide a year ago. He’s one heck of a player.
