Klopp demands Liverpool improve at the back

Hot off the heels of West Ham pulling the double over Liverpool and pulling a 2-0 victory, manager Klopp is hopping mad.

‘Star Wars’ takes Chinese social media by storm, flirts with record release
It did the same on Tuesday, adding another .3 million to its haul to beat the million record previously set by another Marvel picture, 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man.

Carroll, still Liverpool’s most expensive signing, led the line impressively for West Ham in his 150th Premier League match, while Christian Benteke was mostly anonymous up front for the visitors.

The card forgoes the usual massive extended family portrait and, instead, includes only Kim and Kourtney’s offspring. We then see him emerge from the audition room smiling as Kim asks eagerly: “Did you make it to Hollywood? “.

Headed goals from Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll capped a magnificent, well-rounded display for Slaven Bilic’s side.

Miami Hurricanes crumble under Washington State Cougars, 20-14
Miami is No. 64 in pass defense, allowing 223.8 yards per game, and cornerback Artie Burns leads the ACC with six interceptions. Cracraft made three catches on third or fourth downs to extend drives, finishing the day with five catches for 63 yards.

“It’s no day for being disappointed, it’s a day for being angry”, Klopp told BT Sport after the game, and that emotion lasted until his full press conference.

“But I don’t want to talk about what we could have done because we didn’t”.

There was not enough in the decisive moments.

“There are crosses in the game that’s normal, you know that”.

Liverpool felt Antonio had fouled Alberto Moreno at the other end prior to the goal, and their misery was doubled in the 55th minute when Andy Carroll rose to power home West Ham’s second.

Klopp also bemoaned their inability to take advantage when they did come back in the game “a little bit” – saying that “everybody saw we starting playing with a clear direction then we had our moments and made chances, but we didn’t score”. Lucas Leiva could be blamed for the first goal and by and large looked very poor throughout. “We could have done much better”. But if you don’t fight, if you fight in these moments not with 100 per cent but with 95 per cent, it’s not enough.

Right too, though, was Klopp’s assessment of his side’s defending after the non-call.

“It’s my responsibility. I’m angry about myself today”.

Michail Antonio beat Nathaniel Clyne to Enner Valencia’s early cross to net the Premier League’s first goal of 2016.

“Talking about defending I don’t want to use the word nasty or ugly – it’s football, defending is a part of football”, he said.

“If you watch the games again, the impact he made against Southampton and the way he orchestrated today with 22 players on the pitch, but with him bossing the game, (you can see) what he means to us”. “It is football and you only get dirty if you need to wash your clothes afterwards!”

“Andy was brilliant, not just because of the goal, but for his performance, everything: defending, holding the ball up”, said the Croatian.

‘Every ball Adrian kicked up, he went to head it or to flick hit.

The Stoke game will hopefully give the players the chance to put the West Ham nightmare behind them.

“Now he looks fit to me”. Sturridge declared himself fit and available on Boxing Day but, because of the England man’s history of injury problems, Klopp was determined not to rush him. He just needs to maintain or even make it better and only then will he become a vital asset.
