Also, the proximity and other sensors on the top of the screen are to the right, whereas it is on the left side on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Tech Times also added to the predictions, saying that based on leaks and renders, the Galaxy S7 lineup will come out in three variants, with the displays measuring 5.1 inches, 5.5 inches and 6.0 inches. Apple has followed a similar policy in their iPhone lineup and only has two main models this year: the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 may be acknowledged as a brilliant device, but along with slipping up in sales versus the iPhone 6, it is losing ground to Samsung’s mid-range offerings such as the Samsung Galaxy A8 and J7.
In a completely different report, there were some images leaked of the upcoming Galaxy S7, it hinted that the smartphone will have a significantly different look to the Galaxy S6. Samsung released the update for Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 units in the United States last month, following which it began releasing the security patch update to the Galaxy S6 as well. The company is expecting to capture the market share with the sleek features of this new phone which has already created a buzz in the tech world.
What are your thoughts about the much rumored Galaxy S7 flagship? This has led to suggestions among analysts that the iPhone 7 – and for that matter the Galaxy S7 – could bring its exterior speakers to the front of the phone; clearly the natural location for this aspect of the smartphone.
Meanwhile, Apple also managed to beat Samsung in the Christmas bestselling list, according to Daily Mail.
