New York City Hotel Video Shows Mattress Crawling With Bedbugs
Ozlen told New York’s ABC 7 that the trip to the Big Apple was a gift from his mother and that the couple had planned to watch the ball drop in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

As you can see from the arm of Ozlen’s girlfriend alone, they were literally eaten alive in the room which was the third one offered to them by hotel staff after the heating didn’t work in the first and the power sockets were faulty in the second. They are seen wriggling along the bed.
The couple paid hundreds of dollars to have their clothing cleaned.
Ozlen said his girlfriend’s body is still inflamed from at least 75 bedbug bites and she could suffer permanent scarring from the ordeal.
“On my birthday, I’m in the hospital, and I’m washing the best clothes that I brought that I own for this vacation, and during that process numerous clothes became damaged, because they’re not meant to be dried”, Ozlen said.
“Another one there, another one there, another one there”, he says.
Elgin says on the video that this was the third room he and his girlfriend were in at the hotel.
Neighbors and hotel guests were shown the video Ozlen shot, and their reaction was pretty much what you’d expect. But the Astor on the Park has yet to comment on the video or the allegations.

Mr Ozlen said the hotel refunded him. Additionally, the station reports the Department of Housing has not yet released a statement.
