Duchess of Cambridge Attends Christmas Day Church Service in Sandrigham
Hundreds of well-wishers flocked to Sandringham this morning to see the Queen and other members of the Royal Family as they attended the traditional Christmas Day church service. And while there were no adorable little royals to gawk at since Kate left Prince George and baby Princess Charlotte at home, we did get to swoon over her belted hunter green coat.

She is shown at a desk adorned with three photographs, one of which shows her grandson Prince William, wife Kate and their two children, George and Charlotte, at seven-month-old girl’s christening in July.
SANDRINGHAM, England Queen Elizabeth II used her Christmas message Friday to proclaim that light can triumph over darkness in these perilous times – and to comment on the joys of having a new great-granddaughter, Princess Charlotte.
The queen’s Christmas message is broadcast every year on radio and television in Britain and in many parts of the British Commonwealth.
“It is true that the world has had to confront moments of darkness this year”.
“For Joseph and Mary, the circumstances of Jesus’ birth – in a stable – were far from ideal, but worse was to come as the family was forced to flee the country”, she said.
Prince William has admitted he would be in for a challenging Christmas thanks to his son Prince George.
The Christmas message – a time-honored British tradition – will be posted on the royal YouTube channel for maximum exposure.
The queen delivered her pre-recorded message at Buckingham Palace, wearing a white and silver dress and while sat at a desk with a Christmas tree in the background.
The queen talked about watching her great-grandchildren help decorate the tree – “one of the joys of living a long life”, she said – and alluded to her upcoming 90th birthday in April.
