The search for Craig Strickland continues.
The lead singer for country band Backroad Anthem and his friend, Chase Morland, disappeared while duck hunting on Kaw Lake in Oklahoma.
Just before he and Strickland left for their hunting destination, Morland sent out an eerily prescient tweet regarding the foreboding weather.
This image of Craig Strickland and his wife Helen Strickland was posted to the Backroad Anthem Facebook fan page. “Thank you for refusing to give up”, she wrote on Instagram.
Helen Strickland, Craig’s wife, told ABC News she was incredibly appreciative of the ongoing search efforts from local authorities.
Helen has been out there right along with them and searching for Craig Strickland’s body. She shared updates from the search, as well as photos of herself with her husband.

Crews have been searching for Strickland’s body for a week in Kaw Lake after he and a friend went boating during last weekend’s ice storm. “Still we want that closure in seeing him”. She said his family has been notified.
