Jalin Marshall becomes latest Ohio State starter to declare for National Football League draft
Ohio State wide receiver/H-back and punt return specialist Jalin Marshall has chose to forego his future eligibility at Ohio State, and throw his hat into the 2016 NFL Draft.

The exodus of pro-ready talent in Columbus does not come as a surprise but it will be odd to enter 2016 without numerous names that have become commonplace in Ohio State’s wonderful mini-run over the last four years with Meyer.
Marshall ranked second on Ohio State’s roster this season in receptions (36), reception yards (477) and receiving touchdowns (5). He could bring to a team what someone like Tavon Austin brings to the St. Louis Rams, where he could be a special teams contributor and help out anywhere on the offensive side of the ball that he can, whether that be as a wide receiver split out or coming out of the backfield.
He also combined for 175 yards and a touchdown on 27 rushes over the past two seasons. In that breakout game, he caught five passes for 95 yards and three touchdowns and had a 54-yard punt return touchdown, all in the second half. “It’s always been a dream of mine to play in the National Football League, and I can’t thank my teammates, coaches and our great fans enough for their unbelievable support since the first day I stepped foot on campus”. Apple joins Joey Bosa, Cardale Jones, Tyvis Powell, Ezekiel Elliott, and Darron Lee as underclassmen declaring early from the Buckeyes, with yet more to decide.
Safety Vonn Bell is still weighing his decision.
