Samsung may release the Galaxy S7 in two screen sizes

That’s based on the images of protective casings for the future Samsung Galaxy S7 phones.

As for the release date of the Galaxy S7, it is widely speculated that the device will be arriving in stores in February and that its release will take place just after CES is over in January.

Samsung, as usual, will not sell this device without its TouchWiz UI, however, the users of this device will be pleased to learn that it comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and it is compatible with Samsung Pay.

Some rumours have been suggesting that Samsung could launch three different sized versions of the Galaxy S7. The Samsung Galaxy A9 will have the Snapdragon 652 as its processor, making the Samsung Galaxy A9 to be nearly as powerful as the Galaxy S6.

The uniquely designed flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and other flagship devices such as Galaxy S6, S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 are expected to receive Marshmallow 6.0.1 update soon. The technology is Samsung’s answer to Apple’s 3D Touch and will enable the Galaxy S7 to unlock new options for apps and programs depending on the pressure of the touch.

The Galaxy S6 also has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and OIS support, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A leaked GeekBench benchmark also suggested we may see models ship with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, depending on the market. Up until now the detailed description of Galaxy S7’s other variants have been very limited although we can expect that the Edge variants will feature a Dual – Edge display.

Samsung is aiming to widen the reach of its digital wallet service even more despite already being the most used mobile payment service in the US.

The New Year is nearly here, and it seems Samsung won’t be stopping to celebrate the year, but instead, the company is busy working on rolling out new devices in the handset world. In comparison a Samsung Galaxy S2 that runs of Android 2.3 Gingerbread is up for sale for a paltry Dh299.

“At Samsung, we are committed to continued innovation, inspired by the feedback and needs of our wide range of consumers”, said JK Shin, CEO and Head of Samsung’s IT & Mobile Business. That being an all aluminum and glass design, but with a few small changes.

We might see a return of expandable storage with microSD support on the next Galaxy as well.
