Green is the first player in Warriors history to post back-to-back triple doubles twice in the same season, and the first National Basketball Association player to do it in eight years.

Mo Speights had 15 points off the bench and played a key role in a 15-4 run that gave the Warriors a 32-24 lead at the end of the first quarter. He recorded point-rebound double-doubles in all three games last week, including a 30 point, 13-rebound effort in a 100-97 win over the Boston Celtics on January 2.

Draymond Green – who was awarded the Western Conference Player of the Week Monday afternoon – continued his All-Star-level play with his third straight triple-double, posting 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb each tallied a team-high 22 points for the Hornets while Steph Curry and Klay Thompson finished with a game-high 30 points apiece for the Warriors. Charlotte (17-17) shot 44.2 percent overall and 33.3 percent from deep. Charlotte has lost a season-high four straight games.

Barnes has been out of the lineup with a sprained left ankle since late November.

Green had 10 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists in a 114-110 road win against the Rockets in which the Warriors played without Curry.
