Sacramento has never posted a victory in Oklahoma City, with its last road win in the series occurring on March 30, 2008, when the Thunder franchise was still known as the Seattle SuperSonics.

With Kevin Durant sitting out with a sprained big toe, the Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Sacramento Kings for the first time ever in OKC, losing 116-104 on Monday night, January 4, at Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City. He’s averaging 26.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists while shooting 51.7 percent overall and 41.1 percent from three. DeMarcus Cousins had 33 points and 19 rebounds in the victory…. His status is day-to-day, but coach Billy Donovan said before the game that he didn’t consider the injury serious.
Without Durant, Russell Westbrook took on more of the load.
“It definitely helped having K.D. out”, Cousins said.
