Acer’s Liquid Jade Primo Wants To Be The Only Device You Use

Based on Windows 10 Continuum technology, the phone can sense when it is connected to a secondary display to allow for universal apps to display on the screen regardless of their developer. It’s the company’s Windows 10-toting flagship, and it packs the hardware to prove it – a Snapdragon 808 SoC, with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, a 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920) AMOLED display, USB Type C, a 21 MP main camera with a dual (not dual-tone) LED flash, and a wide-angle 8 MP selfie snapper.

We first learned of the Acer Liquid Jade Primo back in October and while it was rumored to arrive last month, that didn’t quite happen.

Acer launches its Windows 10 Mobile powered flagship with Liquid Jade Primo at the ongoing CES, to rival the Microsoft Lumia flagship duo. It’ll then roll out to other unspecified regions. However, those Lumia brothers now have a competition, as the Acer Liquid Jade Primo has just been launched.

The Liquid Jade Primo is also capable of connecting to a TV or monitor at hotels or other unfamiliar venues, to provide productivity-intensive applications by breaking the boundaries of portability.
